Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo Maximizes Success for Real Estate Professionals

Educational event for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania REALTORS® will take place in Atlantic City beginning December 4th

From December 4-6, real estate professionals from the tri-state area will converge at the Atlantic City Convention Center for the largest annual real estate event in the region, the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo. Hosted by the New Jersey, New York State and Pennsylvania associations of REALTORS®, Triple Play offers real estate professionals and those working in related industries the tools they need to manage the market, gain a competitive edge and maximize success.

Triple Play 2007 offers 70 educational sessions in eight tracks - appraisal, association executive, brokerage/management, commercial, legal/tax/environmental/ethics, professional development, sales/marketing, and technology. Presented by top industry speakers, sessions include:

  • Being Productive and Profitable in a Changing Market and The Art of Negotiating with Roger Turcotte.
  • Trends that Affect Your Bottom Line by Marcie Roggow.
  • Flips, Frauds & Foreclosures with Melanie McLane.
  • Get Your Listings Sold Before They Get Old and Getting Your Buyers to Say "Good Buy" Rather Than "Goodbye" with Joe Meyer.

More than 10,000 commercial and residential brokers and salespeople, property managers, appraisers, and counselors, among many other real estate professionals, are expected to attend the convention. Those who attend the Triple Play Trade Expo will hear about new trends, products, and services that will enhance their ability to do business and service their clients and customers. This year's 450 exhibitors represent a wide variety of technology, environmental, financial, real estate, title and security companies.

REALTORS® who wish to develop specialized knowledge in one or more areas of real estate will have the opportunity at Triple Play to complete courses that can be applied toward a REALTOR® designation and/or certification. Courses that will be offered include: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) elective - Foreclosure Opportunities for Buyers/Clients; Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) course - Managing & Leading Teams; Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) course - Building an Exceptional Customer Service Referral Business; Resort and Second-home Property Specialist (RSPS) elective - Institute of Real Estate Management - Managing Small Business Properties; and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) course - Senior Real Estate Specialist. Additional fees apply for each designation/certification course.

Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island licensees may earn real estate continuing education (CE) credit for select convention programs. New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania licensees may earn appraisal CE credits. Licensees who wish to earn credits must register for these sessions in addition to the convention registration. The cost for CE credits is $30 per course/per state.

The keynote address on Wednesday, December 5, at 12:15 p.m. will be presented by Loretta LaRoche, an international stress management and humor consultant. In "Life is Not a Stress Rehearsal," LaRoche takes an honest and hilarious look at how life has become a pressure cooker of unrealistic expectations, information overload, relentless marketing and workaholism. LaRoche is a member of the faculty at Mind/Body Medical Institute in Boston, a well-known TV personality on PBS and best-selling author of six books.

Triple Play 2007 wishes to thank Terabitz, Flagstar Bank Home Lending, Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions, Optimum Homes and The Coves at Round Mountain for their generous support of this event.
