Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo Maximizes Success for Real Estate Professionals
Educational event for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania REALTORS® will take place in Atlantic City beginning December 4th
From December 4-6, real estate
professionals from the tri-state area will
converge at the Atlantic City Convention
Center for the largest annual real estate
event in the region, the Triple Play
REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo. Hosted
by the New Jersey, New York State and
Pennsylvania associations of REALTORS®,
Triple Play offers real estate professionals
and those working in related industries the
tools they need to manage the market, gain a
competitive edge and maximize success.
Triple Play 2007 offers 70 educational
sessions in eight tracks - appraisal,
association executive, brokerage/management,
commercial, legal/tax/environmental/ethics,
professional development, sales/marketing,
and technology. Presented by top industry
speakers, sessions include:
- Being Productive and Profitable in a
Changing Market and The Art of
Negotiating with Roger Turcotte.
- Trends that Affect Your Bottom Line
by Marcie Roggow.
- Flips, Frauds & Foreclosures with
Melanie McLane.
- Get Your Listings Sold Before They
Get Old and Getting Your Buyers to Say
"Good Buy" Rather Than "Goodbye" with
Joe Meyer.
More than 10,000 commercial and
residential brokers and salespeople,
property managers, appraisers, and
counselors, among many other real estate
professionals, are expected to attend the
convention. Those who attend the Triple Play
Trade Expo will hear about new trends,
products, and services that will enhance
their ability to do business and service
their clients and customers. This year's 450
exhibitors represent a wide variety of
technology, environmental, financial, real
estate, title and security companies.
REALTORS® who wish to develop specialized
knowledge in one or more areas of real
estate will have the opportunity at Triple
Play to complete courses that can be applied
toward a REALTOR® designation
and/or certification. Courses that will be
offered include: Accredited Buyer
Representative (ABR)
elective - Foreclosure Opportunities for
Buyers/Clients; Certified Real Estate
Brokerage Manager (CRB) course - Managing &
Leading Teams; Certified Residential
Specialist (CRS) course - Building an
Exceptional Customer Service Referral
Business; Resort and Second-home Property
Specialist (RSPS) elective - Institute of
Real Estate Management - Managing Small
Business Properties; and Seniors Real Estate
Specialist (SRES) course - Senior Real
Estate Specialist. Additional fees apply for
each designation/certification course.
Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and
Rhode Island licensees may earn real estate
continuing education (CE) credit for select
convention programs. New Jersey, New York
and Pennsylvania licensees may earn
appraisal CE credits. Licensees who wish to
earn credits must register for these
sessions in addition to the convention
registration. The cost for CE credits is $30
per course/per state.
The keynote address on Wednesday,
December 5, at 12:15 p.m. will be presented
by Loretta LaRoche, an international stress
management and humor consultant. In "Life is
Not a Stress Rehearsal," LaRoche takes an
honest and hilarious look at how life has
become a pressure cooker of unrealistic
expectations, information overload,
relentless marketing and workaholism.
LaRoche is a member of the faculty at
Mind/Body Medical Institute in Boston, a
well-known TV personality on PBS and
best-selling author of six books.

Onsite registration will be available at
the Atlantic City Convention Center on
Tuesday, December 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00
p.m., Wednesday, December 5 from 7:30 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 6 from
7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The cost for
REALTORS® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATES® is $90. The
