NJAR® HOUSING FOR ALL CALENDAR PROMOTES FAIR HOUSING
2008 calendar features the 'best of the best' artwork from New Jersey students
(Edison, NJ) In an effort to help promote
the importance of fair housing, the New
Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) has
created its 5th annual Housing for All
calendar. The 2008 edition commemorates the
fifth anniversary of the calendar by
featuring the 'best of the best' artwork
from 12 students throughout New Jersey who
have won the NJAR® Fair Housing Poster
Contest over the past five years.
"Fair housing is a very important issue to
REALTORS®," said NJAR® President Bill
Hanley. "The calendars are a great way to
raise awareness and promote equal
opportunities in housing to help ensure that
all New Jerseyans have access to the housing
of their choice. The Housing for All
calendar is also a great tool to help
educate students about fair housing rights.
The calendars promote a worthy cause and
make a great gift for friends, family and
co-workers."
In 2002, the NJAR® Equal
Opportunity/Cultural Diversity Committee
initiated the NJAR® Fair Housing Poster
contest. New Jersey students in grades three
to six were asked to submit artwork that
depicts their perspective of "What equal
opportunity in housing means to me" or
"Keeping fair housing in mind, what changes
would you like to see in your neighborhood?"
Calendars are available for five dollars
each. Order forms are available at

Foundation, Inc. (NJARHOF), a 501 (c) (3)

greater homeownership opportunities for New
Jersey residents. Over the years, NJARHOF
funds have gone towards producing affordable
rental and ownership housing units
throughout the state in Atlantic, Bergen,
Cumberland, Hudson, Hunterdon, and Somerset
counties.
