REGISTRATION FOR REALTOR® CONVENTION NOW OPEN

Largest annual real estate event in region offers educational and networking opportunities

(Edison, NJ) Registration is now open for the seventh annual Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo, which will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center Dec. 4-6, 2007. Sponsored by the New Jersey, New York State and Pennsylvania REALTOR® associations, Triple Play is the largest annual real estate event in the region. Those who register for the convention by Oct. 15, 2007 will receive the early-bird, discounted prices.

Triple Play provides a unique opportunity for commercial and residential brokers and salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors and other real estate professionals to converge in one place to network, attend educational events and hear from nationally recognized speakers. This year, more than 10,000 people are expected to attend the event. The trade expo will consist of nearly 500 booths showcasing the latest real estate technology and products. Exhibitors include a variety of mortgage, home inspection, insurance, financial, environmental, real estate and technology companies.

One of the highlights at this year's event will be the Grand Assembly keynote address by Loretta LaRoche, a renowned stress coach and humorist. LaRoche will present "Life is Not a Stress Rehearsal," a discussion about the products and plans people believe make their lives better and how to maintain a real human connection. She is the best selling author of six books, and writes a weekly newspaper column called "Get a Life." The Grand Assembly will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Triple Play also offers an education program consisting of 70 sessions on a variety of topics such as appraisal, sales and marketing, professional development, and brokerage and management. Among this year's speakers and sessions are: Flips, Frauds & Foreclosures and Appraising in the New Millenium by Melanie McLane; Being Productive and Profitable in a Changing Market and The Art of Negotiating by Roger Turcotte; Trends that Affect Your Bottom Line by Marcie Roggow; Get Your Listings Sold Before They Get Old and Getting Your Buyers to Say "Good Buy" Rather Than "Goodbye" by Joe Meyer.

Professional designation and certification programs are offered during Triple Play for those who wish to expand their real estate knowledge. Designation programs include: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) elective; Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB); Certified Residential Specialist (CRS); Resort and Second-home Property Specialist (RSPS) elective; and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).

Real estate continuing education (CE) courses will be offered during Triple Play as well. Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island licensees may earn real estate CE credit for select convention programs. New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania licensees may earn appraisal CE credits. Licensees who wish to earn credits must register for these sessions in addition to the convention registration. The cost for CE credits is $15 per course/per state until Nov. 15. Onsite CE registration will be $30 per course/per state.

Early-bird, discounted prices of $60 for members and $120 for non-members are available for those who register by Oct. 15. Regular fees of $75 for members and $135 for non-members will apply thereafter. The deadline for pre-registration is Nov. 15, 2007. Registration may be completed online at www.realtorstripleplay.com.
