REGISTRATION FOR REALTOR® CONVENTION NOW OPEN
Largest annual real estate event in region offers educational and networking opportunities
(Edison, NJ) Registration is now open for
the seventh annual Triple Play REALTOR®
Convention & Trade Expo, which will take
place at the Atlantic City Convention Center
Dec. 4-6, 2007. Sponsored by the New Jersey,
New York State and Pennsylvania REALTOR®
associations, Triple Play is the largest
annual real estate event in the region.
Those who register for the convention by
Oct. 15, 2007 will receive the early-bird,
discounted prices.
Triple Play provides a unique opportunity
for commercial and residential brokers and
salespeople, property managers, appraisers,
counselors and other real estate
professionals to converge in one place to
network, attend educational events and hear
from nationally recognized speakers. This
year, more than 10,000 people are expected
to attend the event. The trade expo will
consist of nearly 500 booths showcasing the
latest real estate technology and products.
Exhibitors include a variety of mortgage,
home inspection, insurance, financial,
environmental, real estate and technology
companies.
One of the highlights at this year's event
will be the Grand Assembly keynote address
by Loretta LaRoche, a renowned stress coach
and humorist. LaRoche will present "Life is
Not a Stress Rehearsal," a discussion about
the products and plans people believe make
their lives better and how to maintain a
real human connection. She is the best
selling author of six books, and writes a
weekly newspaper column called "Get a Life."
The Grand Assembly will take place on
Wednesday, Dec. 5.
Triple Play also offers an education program
consisting of 70 sessions on a variety of
topics such as appraisal, sales and
marketing, professional development, and
brokerage and management. Among this year's
speakers and sessions are: Flips, Frauds
& Foreclosures and Appraising in the New
Millenium by Melanie McLane; Being
Productive and Profitable in a Changing
Market and The Art of Negotiating
by Roger Turcotte; Trends that Affect
Your Bottom Line by Marcie Roggow;
Get Your Listings Sold Before They Get Old
and Getting Your Buyers to Say "Good Buy"
Rather Than "Goodbye" by Joe Meyer.
Professional designation and certification
programs are offered during Triple Play for
those who wish to expand their real estate
knowledge. Designation programs include:
Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR)
elective; Certified Real Estate Brokerage
Manager (CRB); Certified Residential
Specialist (CRS); Resort and Second-home
Property Specialist (RSPS) elective; and
Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
Real estate continuing education (CE)
courses will be offered during Triple Play
as well. Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania
and Rhode Island licensees may earn real
estate CE credit for select convention
programs. New Jersey, New York and
Pennsylvania licensees may earn appraisal CE
credits. Licensees who wish to earn credits
must register for these sessions in addition
to the convention registration. The cost for
CE credits is $15 per course/per state until
Nov. 15. Onsite CE registration will be $30
per course/per state.
Early-bird, discounted prices of $60 for
members and $120 for non-members are
available for those who register by Oct. 15.
Regular fees of $75 for members and $135 for
non-members will apply thereafter. The
deadline for pre-registration is Nov. 15,
2007. Registration may be completed online
