NEW JERSEY
ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® SEEKS GOOD
NEIGHBORS
NJAR® Good Neighbor Awards recognize REALTORS® for their dedication to improving quality of life
EDISON, N.J. - The New
Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) is
currently seeking nominations for REALTORS®
who have acted as "good neighbors" by
dedicating their time and energy to
improving the quality of life for
communities and people in need. The 2007
NJAR® Good Neighbor Awards recognize
REALTORS® who do more than buy and sell real
estate by participating as volunteers to
help others. Anyone may nominate a REALTOR®
who is a member in good standing.
"REALTORS® are very involved in
dedicating their time and energy to
enhancing the quality of life in communities
throughout New Jersey," said NJAR® President
Bill Hanley. "The NJAR® Good Neighbor Awards
are a great way to acknowledge REALTORS®
whose efforts have made their communities a
better place to live - whether through
affordable housing initiatives, education
and child welfare projects, or in any number
of other ways. We encourage anyone to
nominate a REALTOR® who deserves recognition
for taking an active role to help others."
The premiere sponsor of this year's NJAR®
Good Neighbor Awards is Family Building
Inspectors. Other sponsors include American
Mortgage Source, Certified Tank Testing and
PSE&G Area Development. Winners will receive
a grant for their charity organization of
choice in the amount of $2,500 for first
place, $1,500 for second, or $1,000 for
third place. All winners also will receive
recognition during an awards ceremony at the
2007 Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade
Expo in Atlantic City, December 4-6, 2007.
All NJAR® Good Neighbor Award entries
must be received by September 12, 2007.
Nominations should include published reports
about the nominee's community work and/or
testimonials from organizations he/she
served. In order to be eligible, an
applicant's community service must have been
conducted, started or completed between
September 1, 2006 and August 31, 2007. All
entries will be evaluated by a panel of
judges not affiliated with NJAR®.
