NJAR® Announces
2005 REALTOR® of the Year and
REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® of the Year
(Atlantic City, NJ) The New Jersey
Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) named LuAnn
Kidd, CRS, ABR, GRI, as REALTOR® of the Year
today at the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention
and Trade Expo. Joyce Conrow was named
REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® of the Year. The two were
honored for their genuine dedication to the
REALTOR® community and for their selfless
contributions to the community-at-large.
"I would like to congratulate LuAnn and
Joyce for receiving the prestigious REALTOR®
and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® of the Year awards,"
said NJAR® President Mary Davis. "These two
awards are presented to NJAR® members who
demonstrate exceptional REALTOR® 'spirit'
and commitment. LuAnn and Joyce have gone
above and beyond in their commitment to the
REALTOR® organization as well as their
individual careers and communities."
LuAnn Kidd entered the real estate
business in 1988 and is a sales associate at
RE/MAX Results Realty in Flemington. She is
president of the Hunterdon/Somerset
Association of REALTORS® (HSAR) for 2005.
She is also a member of the HSAR RPAC task
force and volunteers for numerous HSAR
committees, including the community service,
education, finance, and Garden State
Multiple Listing users committees. In 2004,
Kidd received HSAR's Silver Education Award
for participation in various seminars,
conferences and educational programs
throughout the year. She earned the NJAR®
Circle of Excellence Sales Award every year
from 1997 to 2004. She currently sits on the
NJAR® Executive Committee and serves as a
NJAR® RPAC trustee.
Her volunteer activities go beyond
business-related efforts and include service
in her local community. Kidd is on the board
of trustees for the Hunterdon Help Line, a
national initiative that assists the public
in finding various community services. She
also volunteers for numerous projects
benefiting Woman's Crisis Services. She
launched a REALTOR® fashion show to raise
funds for Woman's Crisis Services and now
coordinates the annual event. She is also
involved with the group's statewide
"Communities of Light" program, which
distributes lights throughout local
neighborhoods to promote safety and increase
awareness of domestic violence.
Joyce Conrow joined the REALTOR®
organization in 1995 and is currently a
sales associate at Coldwell Banker/McClain
Heller Real Estate in Vineland. She has been
a REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® representative to the
board of directors for the Cumberland County
Board of REALTORS® for four years. She also
serves in numerous leadership positions and
volunteers for various committees for her
local board. She is chair of the public
relations committee and a member of the
professional standards and programs
committees. Conrow coordinates and promotes
educational and community service events,
such as seminars, galas, fundraisers, and
food drives, for the Cumberland County Board
of REALTORS®. She is also a seven-time
recipient of the NJAR® Circle of Excellence
Sales Award®.
Conrow's devotion to the community is
also commendable. She contributes her time
and energy to the Cumberland County Board of
REALTORS® annual "Shoe-In" fund-raiser.
Before the school year begins, volunteers
seek to raise funds from the local community
to purchase shoes for children and families
in need. Conrow also coordinated a
strawberry festival fundraiser to benefit
Spirit and Truth Ministries soup kitchen of
Vineland. She helped bake and sell over 400
strawberry shortcakes to raise awareness for
the cause of hunger in the community.
The New Jersey Association of REALTORS®
is a non-profit organization serving the
professional needs of approximately 52,000
REALTOR® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® members in
the state. REALTOR® is a registered
collective membership mark which may be used
only by real estate professionals who

strict Code of Ethics and are members of the
