NJAR® Recognizes November as REALTOR® Designation Awareness Month
(Edison, NJ) The New Jersey Association
of REALTORS® (NJAR®) and the NATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) are pleased
to announce the arrival of REALTOR®
Designation Awareness Month. Throughout the
month of November, NJAR® will be informing
its members of the benefits of pursuing an
official NAR-endorsed designation or
certification program.
The real estate business is influenced by
many components, such as evolving
technology, changing legalities and consumer
trends. NAR and its nine Institutes,
Societies and Councils offer twenty advanced
education designation and certification
programs to help members remain up-to-date
in such a dynamic environment. Although
other designations exist, only these twenty
carry an official NAR endorsement.
"NAR designations can enhance your career
through personal education, a deeper
understanding of the industry and the strong
network of professionals who share your
interests," said NJAR® President Mary Davis,
ABR, GRI. "I encourage NJAR® members to
explore one of the several designation
programs offered at the annual Triple Play
REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo in
December. You will find the rewards are
worth the time invested."
The annual Triple Play REALTOR®
Convention and Trade Expo, sponsored by the
New Jersey, New York State and Pennsylvania
associations of REALTORS®, will take place
December 6-8 in Atlantic City. Designation
courses toward the Certified Residential
Specialist (CRS), Certified Real Estate
Brokerage Manager (CRB) and Performance
Management Network (PMN) designations will
be offered in addition to a certification
program in Resort and Second Home Markets.
For more information on these courses, visit
http://www.realtorstripleplay.com.
Additional designation courses are offered
throughout the year by NJAR® and New Jersey's
local boards/associations of REALTORS®.
