For Immediate Release: NJAR® CONTINUES ITS SPONSORSHIP OF THE NEW JERSEY NETWORK(Edison, NJ) For the sixth straight year, the New Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) proudly continues its support of the New Jersey Network (NJN) as a sponsor of the news and other programming. Throughout the year, NJN viewers will see a 30-second spot of 2008 NJAR® President Drew Fishman discussing the value REALTORS® bring to real estate transactions and their involvement in their communities. An additional 30-second spot highlighting NJAR®'s legislative advocacy efforts will air during NJN's nightly news and public affairs programming. "Our sponsorship of NJN is a fantastic way to get our message out to the public of New Jersey that REALTORS® are an invaluable resource to individuals interested in buying or selling real estate," said Fishman. "REALTORS® have the knowledge and expertise to help consumers navigate all phases of a real estate transaction. Through our support of NJN, we can also show the public the impact REALTORS® have on the towns where we live and work. Whether it is our promotion of affordable and fair housing, our volunteer work with local charities or our advocacy efforts in Trenton, New Jersey REALTORS® are working to strengthen our communities." For over 90 years, NJAR® has served as an advocate for private property rights and homeownership. Through both sponsorship messages, viewers will learn that REALTORS® bring a tremendous amount to the table. The message from President Fishman premiered last night during "Nature" at 8:00 p.m. and will air during primetime weeknight and weekend afternoon programming throughout April and May, and again during the fall programming schedule. Look for it in programs such as "This Old House" on Saturday, April 12 at 6:00 p.m. and "Antiques Roadshow" on Tuesday, April 15 at 8:00 p.m. NJN is the state's educational telecommunications network providing universal access to award-winning programs and services that address the special needs of New Jersey and its citizens.
