NJAR® Leadership Team
Drew S. Fishman, CRS, President
Drew
Fishman, CRS is 2008 president of the New
Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®). A
broker/sales associate at RE/MAX Atlantic in
Northfield, N.J., Fishman has been a member
of the REALTOR® organization since entering
the real estate business in 1984. He is
listed in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and has
been featured in the Who's Who Registry of
Business Leaders.
Prior to his election as NJAR® president,
Fishman held several leadership positions
with NJAR® including president-elect, first
vice president, and professional development
division officer. Over the years, he has
been a member of the bylaws, budget and
finance, communications and public
relations, professional development and
political affairs committees.
In 2004 and 2005, Fishman served as
president of the Atlantic City & County
Board of REALTORS®. In 1996, the Atlantic
City & County Board of REALTORS® selected
Fishman as REALTOR® of the Year. He was
granted the President's Award in 1995. In
addition to his service to the Atlantic City
Board, Fishman was president of the South
Jersey Shore Multiple Listing Service, and
is currently on its board of directors.
Fishman's commitment to the REALTOR®
organization extends to the national level
where he serves as a director and delegate
to the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®
(NAR) board of directors. He is a member of
the land use, property rights & environment
committee. In previous years, Fishman served
on the public policy coordinating, and
political communications committees.
A resident of Absecon, N.J., Fishman serves
as chairman of the Absecon planning board.
Fishman is a recipient of the New Jersey
Planning Officials Distinguished Service
Award and has served as director for the
organization since 1995 and South Jersey
Chair from 1998 to 2004. He is active in
numerous charities including Gilda's Club,
Habitat for Humanity, Race for the Cure, and
Children's Miracle Network.

Diane E. Dilzell, CRS, e-PRO, President-Elect
Diane Dilzell, CRS, e-PRO is president-elect
of the New Jersey Association of REALTORS®
(NJAR®). She is a broker/manager at RE/MAX
Pinnacle of Bedminster who joined the
REALTOR® organization in 1989.
Over the years, Dilzell has served NJAR® as
a division officer, chairperson, and member
of numerous committees including: strategic
issues, budget and finance, cultural
diversity, and risk management. In addition,
she serves as a trustee for the NJAR®
Educational Foundation, a nonprofit
organization that provides annual
scholarships to New Jersey students pursuing
higher education.
Dilzell is an active member of the
Hunterdon/Somerset Association of REALTORS®
(HSAR). In 2002, Dilzell served as president
of HSAR and was selected as HSAR's REALTOR®
of the Year. She has been a member of the
finance, by-laws, education, and program
committees, in addition to holding the
position of products & services committee
chairperson.
Dilzell also serves the REALTOR®
organization at the national level where she
is currently a member of the NATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) housing needs
committee and an NAR director. From 2004 to
2006 she served on the cultural diversity
and equal opportunity committee.
In 2003 and 2004, Dilzell served as
president of the Council of Residential
Specialists New Jersey Chapter. The Chapter
offers networking and educational
opportunities to members who have achieved
the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
designation. In 2001, Dilzell was named New
Jersey CRS of the Year.
Dilzell is an active volunteer for numerous
organizations throughout Somerset and
Hunterdon counties including Habitat for
Humanity and People for Animals. She also
serves as a trustee on the Somerset County
Coalition on Affordable Housing. She is an
associate member of the Bedminster-Far Hills
First Aid Squad. Dilzell is a lifelong
resident of New Jersey and has two children.

Christina Banasiak, CRS, e-PRO, Treasurer
Christina Banasiak, CRS, e-PRO is treasurer
of the New Jersey Association of REALTORS®
(NJAR®). Banasiak received her real estate
license in 1979 and her broker's license in
1982. She is currently a broker associate at
Weichert REALTORS®-Marlboro office.
Since joining the REALTOR® organization in
1979, Banasiak has served the organization
in many different capacities. At the state
level she held the post of professional
conduct division officer in 2007. In
previous years, she served as professional
development division officer and chair of
the convention and by-laws committees.
Additional committee service includes the
budget & finance, circle of excellence sales
award®, legal affairs, legislative, and
professional standards committees.
Banasiak was elected to serve as president
of the Monmouth County Association of
REALTORS® (MCAR) in 2005 and 2006. Banasiak
was named MCAR REALTOR® of the Year in 1997
and 2006. Her previous leadership roles at
the local level include president-elect,
first vice president, and chair of the
professional standards committee. She has
also been a member of numerous other
committees including budget & finance,
bylaws, managers council, and public
relations. She has been member of the MCAR
board of directors since 1995.
Banasiak served the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF
REALTORS® as a director from 2002 to 2004.
Most recently, she served on the multiple
listing issues and policy committee and
federal taxation committee. She is a member
of the Women's Council of REALTORS®.
Banasiak currently resides in Jackson, N.J.
with her husband and is active in local and
national charities.

William J. Hanley,
Immediate Past President
Bill Hanley is immediate past president of
the New Jersey Association of REALTORS®
(NJAR®). A broker/manager with Weichert,
REALTORS® in Metuchen, Hanley has been a
member of NJAR® since he began his real
estate career in 1980.
In 2007, Hanley served as president of the
Association. His previous leadership roles
included serving as NJAR® president-elect,
first vice president, a trustee of the NJAR®
Housing Opportunity Foundation and as
president of the NJAR® Educational
Foundation. He has volunteered for numerous
NJAR® committees including: budget and
finance, nominating, legislative, strategic
planning, and professional standards.
Currently, Hanley is a member of the
Middlesex County Association of REALTORS®
where he served as president in 2002 and
2003, and was named REALTOR® of the Year in
2000. He has participated on several
committees at the local level, including
professional standards, constitution and
bylaws, budget and finance, and technology.
In addition, Hanley has served as an
instructor of the National Association of
REALTORS® (NAR) Quadrennial Ethics Training
course in Middlesex County.
On the national level, Hanley is a NAR
director and member of the risk management
committee. He has also been a member of the
housing needs committee.
Hanley is a graduate of Westminster Choir
College where he received his Bachelor's
degree in music education. He currently
resides in Somerset, N.J.
