New Jersey Defies National Housing Trends: Home Sales Up 4 Percent
May 13, 2008 - Sales volume of
existing single-family homes, condominiums
and co-ops in the first quarter of 2008
increased 4 percent from the same period
last year, indicating New Jersey continues
to defy national real estate trends.
According to statistics released by the
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) today, New
Jersey's seasonally adjusted annual rate of
home sales equaled 169,600.

NJAR® Seeks Applications for Good Neighbor Awards
May 12, 2008 - The New Jersey Association of
REALTORS® (NJAR®) is currently seeking
nominations for REALTORS® who have acted as
"good neighbors" through their dedication to
community service. The NJAR® Good Neighbor
Awards recognize REALTORS® who do more than
buy and sell real estate by volunteering to
help others. Anyone may nominate a REALTOR®
or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® who is a member of the
Association in good standing.
