REALTORS^® will be notified by their primary local board/association as to the acceptance or rejection of their 2008 NJAR^® Circle of Excellence Sales Award^® applications by January 27, 2009.

Neither you, the agency with which you are associated, nor anyone on your behalf or with your authorization shall in any manner advertise, publish or distribute prior to February 1, 2009, that you are a recipient, qualified or eligible to receive the NJAR^® Circle of Excellence Sales Award^® for the year 2008. NJAR^® Presents REALTOR^® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE^® of the Year

Ellen Kale of the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS^® received the NJAR^® REALTOR^® of the Year Award and Roy Minieri of the Middlesex County Association of REALTORS^® received the REALTOR-ASSOCIATE^® of the Year award. NJAR^® Awards 2008 Good Neighbors

The sixth annual NJAR^® Good Neighbor Awards were presented to three REALTORS^® for their commitments to community service programs. The winners are as follows:

1st Place: Daniel McKee of the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS^® $2,500 will go to the Asbury Park Little League. McKee helped raise more than $225,000 in funding to rebuild the local baseball field that was in desperate need of repair.

2nd Place: Elizabeth Harper of the North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS^® $1,500 will go to Operation Holiday of Morristown, which provides gifts to Morris County residents in need during the holiday season.

3rd Place: Lawrence Vecchio of the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS^® $1,000 will go to 180 Turning Lives Around, Inc. of Hazlet, which provides transitional housing to families who are homeless as a result of fleeing a domestic violence situation.

NJAR^® Committee Presents Communications Awards

The NJAR^® Communications and Public Relations Committee presented the awards for local board/association community service and member communications. The winners are as follows:

Quarter Century Club and REALTOR^® Emeritus Members Announced

NJAR^® applauded 31 members who achieved the REALTOR^® Emeritus designation, which signifies 40 years of membership in the Association. Additionally, NJAR^® welcomed 150 new members into the Quarter Century Club, a program that signifies 25 years of membership in the Association.
