Communications Awards

Each year the New Jersey Association of REALTORS^® Communications and Public Relations Committee presents several awards honoring local boards and associations for their communications and community service endeavors. The Member Communications Awards and Community Service Award are presented to winners at an awards ceremony during the annual Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo in Atlantic City each December.

Community Service Award

The Community Service Award is given to a local board/association that has demonstrated exemplary community service efforts to help better the communities in which they live and work. Some examples may include participation at local fund-raisers, clothing drives or hospitals. In 2007 the Hunterdon/Somerset Association of REALTORS^® was the winner of the Community Service Award for their charitable work throughout the year.

Member Communications Awards

The Member Communications Awards recognize local boards and associations for excellence in communicating with their members either through a print or electronic newsletter as well as through their website. Local boards and associations interested in applying are encouraged to enter only one print or electronic newsletter as well as one entry for their website.

The 2007 winner of the Member Communications Award-newsletter category was the Hunterdon/ Somerset Association of REALTORS^® for their newsletter REALTOR^® Happenings. The winner of the Member Communications Award-website category was the Hunterdon/Somerset Association of REALTORS^® for their website www.hsar.com.
